Finally Indian President Pranab Mukherjee proudly presented worlds cheapest tablet to the country on sunday.After having heard many drawbacks of Akash PC that was launched last year by the union minister Kapil Sibil the govt of India announced an upgraded second-generation model called AKASH 2.It has been developed under the aegis of IIT Bombay with the active support of C-DAC.Actual price of this tablet is Rs 2263 but the Government subsidies it by 50% and it will be distributed to students at Rs.1130.The first one lakh devices will be provided to students of engineering colleges and universities and subsequently these will be distributed to others.Akash Tablet price is Rs.3400 for retail customer which makes it cheapest tab in Indian market. Aakash 2 tablet comes with internet connectivity plan which will cost Rs. 98 per month.
